1. Acceptance
By accessing or using StudyVerse, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are below the age required to use online services in your jurisdiction, use StudyVerse only with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or other authorized supervisor.
2. Accounts and Access
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, passkeys, and devices secure.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
- You are responsible for activity that happens through your account unless caused by our own security failure.
- StudyVerse may require email verification, password reset verification, or other authentication checks to protect accounts.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse StudyVerse. That includes trying to gain unauthorized access, interfering with timers or analytics, uploading harmful code, scraping the service in a harmful way, impersonating others, abusing collaboration tools, or using the platform to violate law or third-party rights.
4. StudyVerse Features
- Timers, streaks, and analytics: StudyVerse helps you record study activity, but statistics depend on the information available in the app and may change if sessions are edited, end automatically, or are completed on another device.
- Coins and rewards: coins are in-app reward units only. They are not cash, are not redeemable for money, and may be changed, reset, limited, or removed if the product changes or if abuse is detected.
- Assignments and team spaces: if you use collaboration tools, you are responsible for the files, messages, answers, and task assignments you create or share, and for ensuring you have permission to upload or distribute that material.
- Public profile features: if you enable public profile visibility or share a public username, you understand that approved profile information may be visible to others.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload or create in StudyVerse, such as profile text, images, assignment files, messages, and answers. You give StudyVerse a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service, provide collaboration features, create analytics, maintain backups, and protect the platform.
6. Third-Party Services
StudyVerse may rely on third-party services for social sign-in, passkey support, notifications, hosting, storage, analytics display, or email delivery. Your use of those integrated features may also be subject to the third party’s own terms or privacy policies.
7. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, limit, suspend, or remove any StudyVerse feature at any time, including timers, streak rules, coin logic, assignments, exports, notifications, or sign-in methods. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free performance, or permanent support for every current feature.
8. Disclaimer
StudyVerse is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is a productivity and study-support tool, not a guarantee of academic performance, educational outcomes, uninterrupted data availability, or suitability for any regulated, emergency, or mission-critical use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StudyVerse and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of progress, interrupted study sessions, or lost opportunities arising from your use of the service. If liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount allowed by law.
10. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to StudyVerse if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, abused the platform, or used the service in a way that could harm other users or the product. You may stop using StudyVerse at any time.
